Samsung and LG Smart TVs are the easiest way to watch IPTV — no extra hardware, no cables, just an app from the TV’s own store. The setup takes under 10 minutes. This guide covers Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS) and Android TVs.

Samsung & LG — the MAC address method

On Samsung and LG, the most popular apps are IBO Player, Smart IPTV (SIPTV) and IPTV Smarters. They all work the same way:

  1. Open the app store on your TV (Samsung Apps / LG Content Store)
  2. Search for the app and install it
  3. Open the app — it displays a MAC address on the screen
  4. Send that MAC address to our support on WhatsApp
  5. We link it to your subscription; restart the app and your channels appear

Note: some player apps ask for a small one-time activation fee (a few euros, paid to the app developer, not to us). Our support tells you which free option is currently best for your TV model.

Android TV (Sony, Philips, TCL, Xiaomi…)

If your TV runs Android TV or Google TV, it works exactly like a Firestick:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on the TV
  2. Install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate
  3. Log in with the Xtream Codes details from your welcome email (username, password, server URL)

The full process with screenshots is in our Firestick guide — the steps inside the app are identical.

Older Smart TVs

TVs older than 2016 sometimes don’t have the apps in their store. Two solutions: use the TV’s browser with our web player, or — the better option — plug a Firestick or a pre-configured IPTV box into the HDMI port. That instantly turns any TV with HDMI into a modern 4K streaming TV.
